This was one of the first shots I ever "set up" back in high school. I had train tracks in my backyard and it was senior year and I had the idea to somehow show friendship surviving the long road ahead. I love this shot and the symbolisim of how the 2 friends are holding hands, walking down a train track that splits...yet they're still holding on to each other...like in life. True friendship can survive any "divisions" life throws at you. 1997

Actually I ended up printing lots of copies of the photo and printing a verse on the top and giving it out as graduation gifts to my friends. The verse was "The wonderful thing about friends is that they can grow separately but not grow apart." I had read this somewhere and never knew who wrote it, but it was perfect for this!
